Pre-modern
The pre-modern era or early modern era began from 1500 – 1800 in western Europe. It is sometimes, and incorrectly, used as a substitute for Renaissance. However, Renaissance is correctly used in the relation to many cultural developments that occurred over seven centuries in many parts of Europe, the span from the transition from late Medieval civilization and the opening of the early modern period.
The early modern period is not commonly designated as the Renaissance artistically and for what came later. Only in the study of literature is the early modern period a standard period. In many fields, the Renaissance and early modern period are closely related. During the early modern period, all parts of the world began to have economic prosperity, religious tolerance and great achievements in the arts in architecture, painting and literature.
Although the early modern period was not as artistic as the Renaissance period, their political enhancement stood out. It was during this period in time when stable and orderly governments were established not only in Europe but in other parts of the world as well.
